
Sarah graduated as a dental surgeon in 1990 from King’s College Hospital, University of London.
She then gained 2 years experience in general dental practice before going back into the hospital setting in preparation for specialist training.
Sarah progressed through several appointments in oral and maxillo-facial surgery and children’s dentistry, obtaining the Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1995.
She then commenced a 4 year academic and clinical training at the Eastman Dental Institute. After the first year she was awarded a Master of Science with distinction in Dental Public Health and a Diploma in Dental Public Health from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. This was followed by a 3 year appointment as a Specialist Registrar in Orthodontics. A second Master of Science was awarded for her research into facial muscle molecular biology in 2000.
On completion of the specialist training, the Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England was gained in 2001, followed by entry on to the Specialist List in Orthodontics of the General Dental Council.
Sarah has been at HSDC for 5 years and provides high quality orthodontic treatment to both adults and children in a relaxed environment, using not only traditional braces, but also more aesthetic options such as Clarity ceramic brackets, Invisalign and Incognito lingual braces.
