How the process works
The process of being fitted for one of these braces is pretty straightforward and our cosmetic dentist in Harley Street will walk you through it step by step. First a series of scans will be taken with either lasers or LEDs to map out the topography of your teeth. With this information we will be able to create a 3D image of your mouth that can then be manipulated with dental based software to show how your realignment will progress.

Aftercare advice
After you leave our dental clinic there are a few things you should keep in mind to make the most of your brace. To begin, we recommend you clean the apparatus at least once every day. You can manage this by mixing a small amount of water with aligner cleaning solution, then simply brush this mixture gently over it with a toothbrush and then allow it to dry.
Do not soak the clear braces in mouthwash. The chemicals in different brands can have an adverse effect on the brace which can potentially damage it. Also, a lot of mouthwashes contain a colouring pigment which can dye the aligner if you’re not careful. The last thing you want is to be walking around with blue teeth.
Finally, if you plan on removing the brace try to not leave it out too long. We recommend that you keep it in for at least 22 hours a day to avoid disrupting the realignment. But, if you do plan on removing it when it gets too uncomfortable, then we recommend that you place it in a hard bodied container to allow it to remain relatively sterile and to prevent any accidental damage.
