With exclusive practice in Harley Street since 2012, Dr. Abel's astonishing career achievements, place him amongst the elite of world-leading young cosmetic dentists.
Qualified from Porto University, Faculty of Dental Medicine in 2006, with a Degree in Dental Medicine, Dr. Abel' global cosmetic expertise derives from intensive postgraduate training programs in advanced aesthetic dentistry from two of the world's best institutions, the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA, USA), where he was awarded the prestigious "Postgraduate Certificate in Aesthetic Dentistry" and the King's College London (KCL, UK), where he is writing a thesis on "smile design", for the completion of his 3-year-long MSc Aesthetic Dentistry program.
Dr. Abel was also awarded the "Year Course in Cosmetic Dentistry" certificate by the CDS (Cosmetic Dental Seminars), one of the UK's study bodies dedicated to providing state of the art courses in cosmetic dentistry, and also pursued a Masters in Implantology with the ITI (International Team for Implantology).
Dr. Abel's extraordinary talent and vision for artistic dentistry are no coincidence. In fact, whilst pursuing his dental degree, and for four years, he dedicated his off-times to the study of arts. He completed a one-year drawing course at FAUP, the highly prestigious Faculty of Architecture Porto University, after which he moved onto 3 years of studying Oil Painting, at ARVORE, one of the most prestigious Portuguese Arts Schools.
Dr. Abel is proud for being the cosmetic dentist of many patients that travel from around the UK and the world in search of his expertise, including high profile clients, such as footballers, musicians, reality TV-Stars, royal family members and others.
